In order to keep Alfie’s Poochie Playlot a fun and safe environment for your pet, all dogs must meet the following requirements:

1. Temperament Evaluation
All new dogs must pass an onsite temperament evaluation prior to scheduling daycare and boarding visits.  Since all dogs are off leash in the respective play areas, aggressive dogs are not accepted. Temperament evaluations are conducted by appointment and only and can be scheduled any weekday and Saturdays.

2. Current Vaccinations
All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations:

  • DHLPP
  • Rabies
  • Bordetella (kennel cough)
  • Fecal test with negative result
3. Flea/Tick Control
Your dog must be on a veterinarian-approved form of topical flea control all year round. Acceptable products are:
  • Frontline or Frontline Plus
  • Advantage or K-9 Advantage
  • Revolution
4. Heartworm Control
Your dog must be on a veterinarian-approved form of heartworm control.

5. Spayed/ Neutered
All dogs must be spayed or neutered if older then 9 months.

6. Age Requirement
All dogs must be at least four months old of age and have completed all of their puppy vaccination series.
